What’s the difference between Free, Classic, and Premium memberships?
Each membership level is designed to meet you where you are in your journey with Purple Jam. Our Free Forever plan gives you access to community updates, stories, and select events at no cost — it’s the easiest way to stay connected and be part of the movement. The Classic Membership is for those who attend regularly and want a little more — it includes unlimited event access in your city, priority entry, and early notifications about upcoming experiences. For those who travel or want the full experience, our Premium Membership offers unlimited access to events nationwide, VIP entry, partner perks, and invitations to special member-only gatherings.
Do I need to buy tickets if I’m a member?
No, you don’t need to buy tickets if you’re an active member. Your membership covers entry to Purple Jam events based on your plan. Free members can attend unlimited events depending on capacity and availability. Classic members enjoy guaranteed entry to all Purple Jam events within their city, while Premium members can attend events across all participating cities without paying for individual tickets. This means no waiting lists, no extra charges, and no missed moments — just easy access to every experience your membership includes.
How often am I billed?
Memberships are billed monthly, plus applicable taxes. When you join, you’ll be charged for your first month immediately, and your membership will automatically renew every month on the same date. This allows you to enjoy all your benefits without interruption — and gives you the flexibility to cancel anytime before your next billing cycle. You’ll always receive a confirmation email after each successful payment for your records.
Can I cancel my membership anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your membership at any time through your account or by emailing us. Once canceled, you’ll continue to have full access until the end of your current term. We make it easy — no hidden conditions, no fine print.
What if I can’t attend an event after signing up?
We understand life happens! If you can’t attend, we simply ask that you release your RSVP or email us so another member can take your spot. Some of our events reach full capacity quickly, and this helps us keep the community experience fair for everyone.
How will I receive updates or invitations?
Members receive updates through our newsletter and direct event invitations via email. Classic and Premium members often receive early access links to RSVP for upcoming experiences before the public. You can also follow us on Instagram @mypurplejam for real-time event highlights and announcements.
Are memberships refundable?
Memberships are non-refundable once activated, since your annual fee helps fund events, artists, and community initiatives. However, you can cancel your auto-renewal anytime to prevent future charges.
Can I transfer my membership?
Memberships are non-transferable, since each one is tied to your name and email for event access. However, members are always welcome to invite friends, colleagues, or family to join as Free or Supporter attendees at individual events.
I’m already a member — how do I claim my free event tickets?
Members don’t need to register through Eventbrite. Instead, you’ll receive a private RSVP link or email form for each upcoming event. Simply complete that form to confirm your attendance — no public ticket purchase required. This process ensures that Classic and Premium members receive priority access and guaranteed seating before events open to the general public.
How do I upgrade my plan?
You can upgrade from Free or Classic to Premium anytime through our website at mypurplejam.com/memberships. Your new benefits — such as nationwide access, VIP entry, and partner discounts — activate instantly upon upgrade, and your annual renewal date resets to your new plan.
