FROM CONCERN TO COMMUNITY
Purple Jam began with a simple concern. As conversations about the growing loneliness epidemic became more common, we began to ask a simple question: how can we create spaces where people feel connected again.
Our first step was bringing people together through small gatherings built around music and conversation. The response was immediate. Our very first event sold out, confirming that people were looking for places where they could meet, share experiences, and feel part of something meaningful.
Encouraged by that momentum, we continued organizing gatherings on a monthly basis. As participants shared feedback, Purple Jam evolved to include new experiences such as live music, comedy, and conversations that encouraged creativity and connection.
Over time, Purple Jam grew beyond events. Today it is a platform that brings people together through stories, shows, and a welcoming physical space where people can work, meet, and enjoy live performances.
Throughout this journey, we have been fortunate to work closely with our longtime partner, CUBA512, and to receive support from individuals across the community who believe in the value of bringing people together.
