Abeiku Greene

Abeiku Greene is a development practitioner and youth advocate with over a decade of experience designing and scaling education and youth empowerment programs in Ghana and across Africa. Until recently, he served as Executive Director of Junior Achievement (JA) Ghana, where he successfully led the organisation’s relaunch after a four-year hiatus and expanded its programs nationwide to reach more than 180,000 youth between 2016 and 2025.

During his tenure, he also represented Africa on the JA Worldwide Member Council (2022–2025), bringing African perspectives to shape global strategies and operational guidelines for one of the world’s largest youth-serving NGOs. Before JA Ghana, Abeiku worked with World Education Ghana, where he coordinated the UK FCDO-funded Complementary Basic Education (CBE) Project in the then Brong Ahafo Region, which reintegrated thousands of out-of-school children in remote communities into formal education.

Abeiku is currently pursuing an Executive Master’s in Public Administration at New York University’s Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service. He also holds a master’s in Development Management from KNUST and a Bachelor’s in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Cape Coast. Abeiku is a Fellow of the American Express Leadership Academy. Widely recognised as a strategic leader and program innovator, Abeiku is deeply committed to equipping Africa’s youth with the skills, opportunities, and resilience to thrive and drive the continent’s sustainable development.
