Psychologist, Global Wellness Advocate & Founder of Magnolia Global Wellness

Soledad Bautista is a Mexican-born psychologist, wellness advocate, and founder of Magnolia Global Wellness, known for her powerful storytelling, cultural insight, and dedication to creating healthier communities. Raised in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Sol grew up navigating a deeply patriarchal, conservative environment that shaped much of her early worldview. Her life changed at 17 when she served with the Servicio Jesuita de Jóvenes Voluntarios in Oaxaca—a transformative experience that exposed her to a matriarchal society where women led, created, and shaped community life. This profound cultural shift awakened her purpose: to expand what is possible for individuals and communities by challenging limiting structures and embracing curiosity, complexity, and change.

Leaving behind her initial path toward medical school, Sol pursued psychology with a mission to help people heal from within. After relocating to the United States, she served in Texas schools, strengthened her bilingual fluency, and gained deep experience working with diverse communities. Yet despite the stability, she felt called back to her purpose. The turbulence of the political climate, rising xenophobia, and the pandemic prompted her to reset her life and reconnect with her mission—leading to the creation of Magnolia Global Wellness in 2021.

Magnolia Global Wellness reflects Sol’s belief that wellness is a lifelong, active process rooted in awareness, choice, and transformation. Inspired by the strength and symbolism of the magnolia flower, and guided by her grandfather’s wisdom of being “a citizen of the world,” Sol built a practice committed to mental health, emotional intelligence, cultural understanding, and collective healing. Her work blends psychology, design thinking, and intercultural communication, empowering individuals and communities to create new structures where differences are celebrated.

As an EMDR-trained psychologist, Sol integrates her background in performing arts, behavioral analysis, and bilingual communication to help clients navigate trauma, growth, and identity. She encourages curiosity as a way of life and champions failure as an essential tool for learning. A lifelong learner herself, Sol draws inspiration from works like Rachel Rodgers’ We Should All Be Millionaires, which deepened her understanding of women’s economic empowerment as a vital layer of global wellness.

Today, Soledad Bautista continues her mission to make meaningful change through mental health, education, cultural intelligence, and global wellness—helping others discover their own “impossible truths” and create lives grounded in purpose, curiosity, and transformation.
