New York, NY – September 2025 — What began as a grassroots gathering in Austin has quickly grown into a cultural movement. Purple Jam, the community-driven series blending music, storytelling, and social impact, will host its first New York event on September 20, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. The evening coincides with the United Nations General Assembly, positioning the showcase at the intersection of art and global dialogue.

Part salon, part social mixer, Purple Jam has built a reputation for convening voices often left outside the mainstream, artists, entrepreneurs, activists, and community leaders. Its founder, Emmanuel Nyame, describes the project as “a microphone for stories that matter.” From packed restaurants in Austin to plans for expansion in Houston, Dallas, and beyond, the series has tapped into an appetite for connection that feels urgent in an age of fractured attention.

The New York edition will bring together a curated roster of speakers and performers whose work underscores themes of purpose, resilience, and belonging. In keeping with its ethos, the evening is less about polished speeches and more about exchange: conversations between entrepreneurs and artists, performances woven with dialogue, and audiences asked to reflect on their own roles in shaping the community.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite, at no cost but they are going fast.
